Funding Opportunities & Requests for Proposals

Notice of Funding Availability: Affordable Housing Development and Preservation 

The 2022 Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for Affordable Housing Development and Preservation is now available. Funding will support the following:

  • Construction of new multi-family rental or homeownership housing for low-income households
  • Acquisition of existing multi-family rental or homeownership housing for low-income households
  • Assistance for low-income, first-time homebuyers
  • Public right-of-way infrastructure improvements that are directly related to the development of affordable housing

Important Deadlines:


Friday May 27, 2022, 9 AM: Deadline for applicants to request an Application Submission Folder

To make a request, send an email to cedhousingdivision@cityoftacoma.org with the subject line “2022 Online Application Submission Folder Request”. Include the following information in the body of the email:

Project Name
Project Sponsor/Developer
Name and email address of each person who may need access to the folder

A link to an Application Submission Folder will be sent by Housing Division staff to the email address provided by the requestor. 


​Friday June 10, 2022, 4 PM: Deadline to Submit Applications
